We currently have a need for a Recruitment and Training Specialist within our Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The schedule is flexible and you would have the ability to create your own schedule based on the needs of foster parents/clients. This will include some evenings and weekend work. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, great organizational skills, ability to be responsible and work independently and be able to deal with a variety of personalities and socio-economic levels.
Recruit Foster Parents
Provide training and learning modules to new and existing foster parents
Maintain data and documentation associated with completion and compliance of required training
We are currently seeking an Admission Specialist position with our Philadelphia based Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The position will work out of offices located at Three Falls Center on Henry Avenue in Philadelphia. Work Schedule requires some flexibility-hours will extend into evenings with a likely 3-11pm shift. These later hours are flexible in terms of where they can be located. There is also the possibility of rotations between night and day shifts with-in this position.
Admissions Specialist responsibilities:
Intake and evaluation of clients for admission and placement in foster care
Data tracking and maintenance of referral information/placement
Physical hospital and site visits to hospitals and homes to coordinate admissions process if needed.
Basic administrative work

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in a human services related field required.
EXPERIENCE: Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in staff training and development, education, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: At least one year of previous experience conducting staff training and development, preferably in a health care setting. Preferred instructor's certification in First Aid, CPR, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).
