This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA serving children and adolescents, between the ages of two and 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder with the goal of treating the individual in his or her home, school and community of the city of Philadelphia. The main responsibilities of a BCBA will be split. First, is supervision of Behavioral Specialist Consultants (BSC) and their training. The training that will be overseen includes but is not limited to evidence based practices and intervention that supports Devereux’s Community Based Program Model. Second, is to assess programming needs of assigned individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BCBA will assess, develop, and oversee the implementation of Behavior Support Plans and skill building programs, which includes monitoring the progress of assigned individuals. Conducts appropriate assessments (including functional behavioral assessments, VB-MAPPs, ESDM, and/or other analyses to assess developmental needs and deficits) to develop or modify BSPs, as well as determine the efficacy of each plan. Serves as a member of the individuals' Interdisciplinary Team and trains staff in the necessary techniques so that plans can be correctly implemented.

Requirements

Education : Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field. Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required.**

Experience : Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license must be maintained.**
