Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides services to children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral health needs who live on-site while in treatment. Located in Metrowest, FL, this position is responsible for ensuring client care by providing medications, ensuring regular medical checkups, and keeping medical file updated, providing an open line of communication with clients’ family and medical staff (doctors, therapists, other nurses), and supporting a therapeutic environment, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.

Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
2 Years of nursing experience or previous experience working in another position with the DJJ, Psychiatric and/or IDD population required .
Nursing experience in a group home or residential facility preferred
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida required
Valid Florida driver's license
Must be able to complete a two week new hire orientation class (Monday - Friday); hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
