The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Specialist position involves the daily operation of a multi-functional tasks. The individual will work directly with all program staff and management to ensure the quality and safety is provided to the individuals we serve and the staff that provide services. The performance for this position requires judgment and ability to function independently under the network policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Specialist responsibilities include:
Conducting quality and environmental reviews, in addition to looking at the programs incident trends and follow up as needed.
Working with funders and regulatory agency to provide information, meet training needs, and follow-up on corrective actions to maintain effective and cost efficient production based upon the programmatic and administrative needs.

AA or AS Degree required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two years’ experience in tracking/monitoring of quality and compliance in case records preferred
In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, State and District policies, procedures and requirements required
Experience using computer software/programs required
Must be able to attend a 3 day orientation Monday-Wednesday from 9am-5pm.
Valid Driver's License
