As a Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for data entry and timely payment of company invoices, ensuring that W-9's, approvals and supportive documentation are in order before monies are released. This position requires the ability to utilize time management skills, prioritize tasks, display positive/appropriate customer service, resolve conflicts/problems/issues and function on an independent basis, requiring minimal guidance/supervision.
The purchasing Assistant's responsibilities include:
Conducting Vouchering of invoices, entering invoices into Oracle, separateing checks for different locations and preparing vouchers and disburses payments for foster parent checks.
Effectively dealing with any customer questions or problems, completing spreadsheets for all large accounts, and maintaining all assigned files.
Researching any discrepancies pertaining to invoices and communicating with vendors and employees to assist with correcting any account discrepancies..
