Our ideal candidate is a service-oriented team player, skilled at building relationships and taking initiative, as well as being results-driven and technology savvy. Based out of our Newfoundland, PA location, you will:

  • Create and manage requisitions and applicants through our applicant tracking system (iCIMS).

  • Screen all applications/resumes and forward to hiring managers for review.

  • Conduct phone-screens and coordinate interviews (also participate if necessary).

  • Complete reference checks, background checks and drug-screens.

  • Creatively source for open positions and develop proactive recruiting techniques.

  • Establish relationships with local colleges and hold/attend job fairs.

  • Extend job offers and coordinate start dates for new hire orientation.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with intellectual disabilities and children with social, emotional and behavioral differences. Located in Newfoundland, PA working with all departments, this position is responsible for all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process including identification of candidates, evaluation of experience and qualifications, and completing the hiring process.

  • Minimum two (2)years high-volume recruitment experience.

  • Experience as an HR Generalist preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Health Care or Business or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, and Human Resources Information systems, specifically applicant tracking systems.

  • Must have exceptional written/oral communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple disciplines autonomously; ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Sound decision making and problem solving skills;

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law.

  • Requires demonstrated proficiency using multiple techniques for candidate identification, including, but not limited to: referrals, internal databases, internet sourcing, social recruiting, cold calling and direct recruiting to obtain qualified candidates.
