BCBA Position Details:

  • Supportive Environment: Work closely with the school's designee and Devereux clinical team.

  • Grade Range: From Pre-K to 12th grade.

  • Summer Freedom: Enjoy summers off, with school hours from Monday to Friday during the academic year (September to June).

  • Generous Time Off: Benefit from time off aligned with the Newark school calendar for the 2023-2024 school year, including personal days and accrued sick time.

  • Competitive Compensation: $72000 with a hiring bonus of $1500.

What Devereux Looks for in YOU:

  • Expertise: Conduct direct observations, consult with teachers, case managers, and other team members on effective classroom strategies.

  • Innovation: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and address individual school requests across various programs and schools.

  • Compassion: Review students' needs for ABA treatment, provide staff training, and actively participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) development.

Qualifications

You'd make a great Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) if you have:

  • Masters degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or related field.

  • Must be Certified in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).

  • Prior experience working with students with special needs.Experience with writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans.

  • Excellent knowledge of ethics, standards, best practices, and regulations for the ABA clinical field.

  • Excellent communication and people skills.
