Part time, daytime schedule with no weekend hours
in our community homes in Monmouth and Ocean counties. We have
flexible hours -need to provide 25 hours/week.
Working as a Registered Nurse at Devereux will offer you :

On-going training opportunities - internal training in the behavioral healthcare field (Safe and Positive Approaches and New Directions), and additional job-related trainings and conferences. Performance evaluations with ongoing coaching conversations.
High technology-our nurses have the ability to supervise LPNs via Skype.

Our ideal candidate will have:
Licensed in the State of New Jersey as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum one (1) year nursing experience, working with DD and/or autism population, or behavioral health setting.
Ability to travel to other vocational programs in our Upper Central and Northern regions.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and have flexibility.
Valid NJ drivers license.
Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 50lbs. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.**
Regularly works inside areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuations in temperature. Use of Protective equipment such as latex gloves, facial mask protective eye wear, and gown. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Some degree of physical involvement in exercise of Safe and Positive Approaches.**
