Devereux New Jersey is hiring a Program Director: Program Coordination. This is a remote, work from home position, but must live in NJ, PA, DE area. This position is a Statewide position and may require travel as needed.

As a Program Director of Program Coordination you will:

  • Ensures the planning and coordination of individualized program plans, data input and maintenance of the individuals’ electronic medical record, and monthly reporting for programs across the state of New Jersey is completed and accurate.

  • Ensure all IHP's for the individuals are completed.

  • Be responsible for the compliance of training staff on the utilization of the electronic medical record.

  • Ensure all documentation is compliment with Devereux Policy and Procedure, state and federal regulations and Medicaid requirements.

  • Provide supervision and guidance for the lead program coordinators, and is responsible for hiring, performance management, training, and payroll for his or her direct reports.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration or a related field is preferred. High School Diploma is required.


  • Minimum of 5-7 years working within the human services field.

  • 5 years in human services must include managerial experience.

  • 3 years Utilization Review experience

  • Knowledge of Medicaid application and determination process

  • Knowledge of Fee for Service

  • Requires knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to adhere to established regulations.

  • Excellent customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage crises.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs, and the organization.

  • Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft applications.

  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years of age.
