Being a Behavior Analyst for Devereux has its Advantages

As a Behavior Analyst, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share the passion for helping adults diagnosed with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities. -Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

  • Provides behavior support to individuals in their assigned program.

  • Assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors.

  • Consultation on habilitation plan goal/objectives, as well as environmental supports.

  • Training, oversight, and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions.

  • Mentoring newly hired specialists/analysts.

This position is located in the Lower Central, NJ region, and is responsible for demonstrating competency in developing and implementing behavior support programming, habilitation goals and objectives, and creating therapeutic environments.

Qualifications

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • Masters degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or related field.

  • Must be Certified in Behavior Analysis.

  • One year experience working with IDD population.

  • Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans.

  • Training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in an ever-changing, fast paced and demanding environment.

  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
