Devereux New Jersey is seeking Part-time Behavior Specialists to be part of our Devereux Consultants and work with children and youth in their own homes throughout Central New Jersey. Hours of services can beday, evening or weekends to accommodate the schedules of working families.

What Devereux looks for in YOU:

  • Assist BCBA with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors

  • Consultation on Behavior Support Plan Goals/Objectives, as well as environmental supports

  • Implementation of therapeutic interventions

  • Data collection and inputting data into excel database

  • Input notes regarding behavioral services

  • Provide specific number of hours of services per individual as indicated by authorizations or contracts

  • Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BCBA's current BSP per Individual


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Education : Bachelor's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related fieldand Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification

Experience :

  • At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually / Developmentally Disabled clients

  • Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience
