The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 9a-5p Monday-Friday with an on call rotation

Adult Services is looking for a Clinical Program Supervisor to oversee 2 Community Group Homes with adult males with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The houses are located in Malvern and West Chester, PA. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

This position is responsible to: Directs the daily operation of assigned community home to assure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health , and safety needs of the individuals. Provides instruction, training, performance based feedback and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in the home on an ongoing basis. In conjunction with the clinician, provides clinical supports to the individuals in the residence and assists in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans. Documents and summarizes progress in a timely manner. Oversees all home operations requirements in accordance with Devereux's Philosophy of Care, established Center Procedures, Standards of Conduct, Best Practices, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with Center Leadership to oversee residential program leaders and residential staff to ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment. Consults with Human Resources on employee relations, recruitment, and retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services

At least three (3) years experience working directly with individuals with autism or autism and developmental disabilities. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years of age.

Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model. Additionally, you must be able to complete eight days of new hire orientation class, have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs and possess a valid license.

Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.
