If teaching is your passion, then consider applying for our new Spanish Teacher position with Devereux League City.
This position is responsible for providing academic instruction to assigned patients in a structured classroom environment designed to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth. This position will develop teaching plans that are appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents (ages 5-21) with emotional, developmental and/or behavioral problems.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health League City provides programs and services for adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, developmental and psychiatric disorders. Located in League City, TX, this position is responsible for providing individual or group client care and assisting in the planning, implementation, social, occupational and other developmental programs.

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. State Teacher certification. Must be bilingual (Spanish) with ability to read/write/speak/translate the language. Proficient computer skills. Valid driver license must be maintained.
Experience: Prefer at least three (3) years experience with special population students. Strong background in education, with knowledge of special education and the special needs and requirements of emotionally disturbed and/or learning disabled individuals
