JOB SUMMARY: The Registered Behavior Technician provides direct supervision and behavior support to individuals in their assigned program and assistance to the BCBA through provision of training and support for BSPs. Duties include but are not limited to providing direct assistance with self-care, behavioral data collection and entry, program documentation, assisting the BCBA with assessment, consultation on goals and objectives, training and monitoring of Behavior Support Specialists and Direct Support Professionals and conducting observations and integrity assessments to ensure implementation of the Behavior Support Plan to fidelity.The RBT acts as the lead direct care professional on the shift, completing required documentation and assignments and ensuring effective support and supervision is provided to individuals by direct care staff.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires staff without an approved medical or religious exemption to be fully vaccinated to be employed in this program. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor or higher degree preferred. RBT certification or the ability to gain certification within 6 months of employment.Proficient computer skills. Valid driver license must be maintained.

Experience: One (1) year previous experience in a Psychiatric facility preferred. One (1) yearexperience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred.
