Being a Recruitment Specialist at Devereux has its Advantages

You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Create and manage requisitions and applicants through our applicant tracking system.

  • Screen all applications/resumes and forward to hiring managers for review. Conduct phone-screens as necessary, complete reference and background checks and extend job offers.

  • Creatively source for open positions utilizing LinkedIn, Indeed and other resume databases, and develop and use proactive recruiting techniques; including referrals, networking, internal databases, internet sourcing, cold calling and direct recruiting to obtain qualified candidates.

  • Maintain on-going communication with candidates, as well as hiring managers and key operations staff, to maintain awareness of critical current and anticipated staffing needs, and conduct recruitment campaigns to address such needs.

  • Establish relationships with local colleges and universities that include attending job fairs, on-campus recruitment and connecting with relevant programs and department heads.

  • Collaborate with Devereux's National Recruitment team and our national network of Devereux Recruiters/HR professionals.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas provides services in League City and Victoria and include; intensive residential for adolescents and young adults, residential for children and adults, as well as vocational, foster care and community-based program. Individuals are welcomed into appropriate treatment programs by caring, compassionate and skilled professionals who are ready to help. The full-time Recruitment Specialist will assist us in finding dedicated professionals to work with our clients and families in need, for both our League City and Victoria locations. This is a NEW position that will be responsible for managing all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process, and will work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, creatively sources for open positions, and develops proactive recruiting techniques and processes that are consistent with Devereux’s mission and goals.

  • Minimum one (1) year high-volume recruitment experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources or other relevant field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, and Human Resources Information systems, specifically applicant tracking systems.

  • Must have exceptional written/oral communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple disciplines autonomously; ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Sound decision making and problem solving skills;

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law.

  • Requires demonstrated proficiency using multiple techniques for candidate identification, including, but not limited to: referrals, internal databases, internet sourcing, social recruiting, cold calling and direct recruiting to obtain qualified candidates.
