JOB SUMMARY: The Admissions Specialist is responsible for driving strategic operational projects focused on enhancing customer service and the overall customer experience from initial contact through discharge. Will develop tools to track and report compliance with routine and as-needed communications including client plan of service reports, significant occurrence reports, and discharge documents. Will provide reminders and updates to staff members who are responsible for various customer communications. Will be familiar with external utilization review systems and provide support to treatment providers to ensure timely and thorough utilization review updates. Will support the admissions and business development functions through activities including but not limited to reviewing referral records, assisting with admissions logistics, providing campus tours, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Will communicate with internal departments on new admissions to ensure readiness to meet the needs of families, funders, agencies, and insurance companies prior to admission.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health League City provides programs and services for adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, developmental and psychiatric disorders. Located in League City, TX, this position is responsible for providing individual or group client care and assisting in the planning, implementation, social, occupational and other developmental programs.

EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, psychology, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year experience in admissions or a similar role.
