Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Finance & Accounting team focuses its efforts on Servant Leadership and delivering the best possible experience to our exceptional employees. This opportunity will oversee and maintain finance and accounting policies across a multi-state, multi-entity organization, and assist our finance and accounting teams at the individual centers. This position will also focus on evaluating and strengthening internal control systems, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory bodies. Participation in onboarding of new staff on policies, procedures and workflows and assistance to the Corporate Controller with joint venture and controlled subsidiaries accounting and reporting, tax filings, as well as the preparation of reports and special projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting policies and procedures, workflows and internal control systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of client/server-based databases and report generators and a wide variety of PC-based tools. Working knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to prepare clear, concise documentation and procedures. Ability to collaborate, lead teams, and provide direction and training.
Systems thinker, with an ability to interpret user requirements and analyze processes and conceptualize solutions.
Servant Leader with exceptional customer service skills and accountability.
