Devereux’s Corporate Contracts & Accounts Receivable Office, located in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist with demonstrated understanding of the complete revenue cycle process, from coverage eligibility, authorizations and EHR system set up through billing and reimbursement. Under the direction of the National Director of Reimbursement and Accounts Receivables, you will provide consultation and support to Center Revenue Cycle staff to ensure the effective delivery of Revenue and Accounts Receivable Processes.

In this role you will:

  • Provide support and consultation to Center Revenue Cycle staff to ensure effective delivery of Revenue and AR processes;

  • Identify trends and problem areas and initiate support/training to Center personnel to effect improvements in AR management and Collection results;

  • Assist departmental staff with research and resolution of credit balances and provide support for cash application and revenue adjustments;

  • Perform system integrity checks and maintenance and coordinate and respond to internal and external audit revenue cycle requests;

  • Provide training and support to other users and assist in developing best practices that strengthen Devereux’s position with AR and credit balances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management ; or equivalent number of years of related experience may be substituted for formal education;

  • Proven record of higher level performance in Billing and Collections with prior management experience;

  • Demonstrated understanding of the complete revenue cycle process from eligibility, authorization and EHR system set up through billing and reimbursement;

  • Experience with automated billing systems and third party clearing houses including the ability to interpret electronic billing/payment files; Knowledge of commercial insurances, state Medicaid plans and other third party billing processes, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements and statutes;

  • Computer proficiency in mainframe and spreadsheet applications. Oracle, Essbase, and/or ProFiler preferred; Excellent interpersonal organization and communication skills;

  • Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
