Devereux’s Corporate Accounts Receivable Office, located in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Financial Specialist to join our Finance team. Under the direction of the National Director of Reimbursement and Accounts Receivables, you will be working collaboratively with center operational and corporate staff to develop effective and useable financial information. This position is responsible for coordination of revenue cycle processes between center and corporate to include Finance, Treasury, Accounts Receivables, Information Resources and contract staff. In this role you will:

  • Provide support and coordination of pre and post monthly close activities; coordinate and consolidate monthly cash projections and funding source sweeps; coordinate and assist with quarterly reserve analysis;

  • Perform monthly GL reconciliations of AR, cash clearing, refund & security deposit liability accounts; identify, coordinate and research missing GL data feeds from EHR system;

  • Perform system integrity checks and maintenance and coordinate and respond to internal and external audit revenue cycle management requests;

  • Provide training and support to other users and assist in developing best practices that strengthen Devereux’s position with outstanding AR balances, and average days with AR and Credit balances.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent number of years of related experience may be substituted for formal education;

  • Minimum of one year of accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit, healthcare or behavioral health setting;

  • Accounts Receivable experience is a plus;

  • Computer proficiency in mainframe and spreadsheet applications. Oracle, Essbase, and/or an electronic health record (EHR) preferred;

  • Excellent interpersonal organization and communication skills and proven self-starter;

  • Strong team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively and independently in a cross-functional team environment;

  • Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines.
