Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Post Doctoral Psychology Fellow in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania


The Devereux Center for Effective Schools (CES; is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit research and training organization located in King of Prussia, PA. The CES assists schools in building the capacity to serve students with, or at risk for developing, emotional and behavioral disorders through research, training, and technical assistance. The CES’s work focuses on establishing multi-tiered (universal, secondary, tertiary) systems of prevention and intervention to improve behavioral and academic supports at the district, school, classroom, and individual student levels.

The CES has two School Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow openings for the 2022–2023 training year. The Postdoctoral Fellow positions are 12-month appointments with a start date of August 1, 2022.

The CES offers two Postdoctoral Fellow tracks for the 2022–2023 training year:

  • School-Based Prevention and Intervention Consultation: The Fellow in this training track will play a leadership role on several funded projects focused on implementing multi-tiered systems of support in various school systems. The Fellow will consult with district and/or school leadership teams to improve school climate and student behavior, develop and implement training programs to promote the delivery of evidence-based practices, create educational products and resources, and support Devereux’s doctoral internship training program.

  • Emotional Support Program Consultation: The Fellow in this training track will play a leadership role in the administration of an emotional support program in an urban school district. The Fellow will consult with classroom staff, direct implementation support system activities, lead staff trainings on FBAs/PBSPs, and support the refinement of initiatives related to promoting students’ inclusion. This Fellow will hold a BCBA or be BCBA-eligible (certified by position start date).
