Here's your chance to gain experience with information systems ticketing systems, hardware and software troubleshooting and exposure to various projects.

Being a Help Desk Tier 1 Support at Devereux has its Advantages

You will work with other dedicated help desk professionals who share your passion for assisting users from our centers throughout the country . We offer the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate and communicate with co-workers to increase efficiency, and enhance the team's time management;

  • Learn about ticketing systems, creating User tickets and documenting technical issues; Assists PC users by helping to identify and resolve problems;

  • Trains PC users in how to use various software packages;

  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and installation of software and hardware on desktop, laptop, networking and telecommunications systems including data, video and voice; Research, escalate and perform problem determination and resolution;

  • You may also be assigned to special responsibilities such as; lab manager, equipment loan manager, Lenovo ordering/troubleshooting manager, or you may be assigned to various projects as they arise (such as company-wide testing, documentation and rollout of new software to our 4000+ PCs);

  • Pay range $13.57-$16.88/hour.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health corporate offices are located in Villanova and King of Prussia, PA and provide leadership, consultation and support services to the operating Centers located in 12 states. Corporate Center staff include Clinical, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Contracts, External Affairs & Development and Marketing/Communications.

What is Devereux doing to support and protect the health and safety of our staff during the COVID-19 pandemic?

At Devereux, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our clients, staff and families. All Devereux centers have formal infectious-disease and emergency-management plans tailored to specifically address the unique aspects of COVID-19 prevention. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization, just a few of these precautions have included:

  • Establishing enhanced cleaning and disinfection across all campuses and sites

  • Implementing social distancing protocols across all programs

  • Using PPE, including masks, gloves and gowns as indicated by the CDC

  • Ensuring daily temperature and symptom screenings for all staff and clients

Throughout the pandemic, Devereux has also supported the physical and financial health of our dedicated team members - our very own Healthcare Heroes. A variety of options have been implemented over time to support our staff, including the provision of:

  • Ongoing dedication bonuses, as well as sign-on bonuses, for direct support professionals (DSP) and other staff members

  • Flexible schedules, remote working where possible, and redeployment between programs and services

  • Hazard pay for those supporting quarantined individuals and shelter away services to frontline staff, when needed, to mitigate spread to families

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 60 credit in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS or related field. Equivalent of one year of technical support experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education.

  • Prior experience in Client Support helpful.

  • Help Desk support experience preferably in last six months.

  • Must be articulate and have excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving skills.

  • Requires an ability to be adaptable, flexible, and change activities quickly according to business needs.
