Devereux’s Corporate Finance Office, located in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Financial Specialist to join our Finance team. Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, you will be working collaboratively with center operational and corporate staff to develop effective and useable financial information. This position is responsible for performing varied aspects of the general accounting function leading up to the generation, analysis and support of GAAP based financial statements. The role includes account reconcilement, the assistance in the generation of financial statements, data analysis, preparation of journal entries, and various other duties within the finance/treasury function as required. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems or Business Administration. An equivalent number of years of related experience may be substituted for formal education;

  • Minimum of one year of accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or healthcare or behavioral health setting;

  • Computer proficiency in mainframe and spreadsheet applications. Oracle, Essbase, and/or ProFiler preferred; Excellent interpersonal organization and communication skills;

  • Strong team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;

  • Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines.
