Devereux’s Corporate Contracts Department based in King of Prussia, PA, has an immediate job opening for a Contracts Analyst. Under the direction of the Contract Director, and supporting the operating Centers located in 13 states, the Contracts Analyst will work collaboratively with and provide support to the Contracts Director and Contracts Department Team to ensure optimal reimbursement and rate negotiations and contract reviews in a timely and accurate manner. This key individual will serve as a liaison with agencies, funding sources and Center personnel. This position will initially be working from home. Corporate Center staff include Clinical, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal, Development, and Marketing/Communications staff.

The Contract Analyst will:

  1. Act as a liaison between the Devereux Foundation and funding agencies on all topics related to the contract;

  2. Have a thorough understanding of various funding agency requirements as they relate to operations and reimbursement;

  3. Effectively collaborates interdepartmentally to ensure the contract does not expose risk to the organization;

  4. Collaborate and communicate with co-workers to reach the highest level of contract management;

  5. Communicate regularly with Director to troubleshoot obstacles specific to contract management;

  6. Analyze and summarize contract requirements and rate negotiations at a high level of detail, communicating the content so that it “makes sense” to its intended audience;

  7. Serve as a resource/subject matter expert on assigned funders/contracts;

  8. Develops an expertise in the set up and ongoing management of the electronic billing system;

  9. Consistently maintains the electronic contract management systems according to the departmental procedures.

Qualifications

-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Care or Business Administrations (with a financial focus);

  • Minimum of One (1) year experience appropriate to contract processing, preferably in a health care, human services or educational setting a plus;

  • Demonstrated skills in the use of financial database management systems, e.g., Excel, Microsoft Word;

  • Ability to analyze information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing;

  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills;

  • Requires flexibility and an ability to adapt to the demands of rapidly changing priorities. Must demonstrate use of sound judgement and be able to make quick and accurate decisions independently;
