We are seeking a Full Time RN or LPN for Evenings 2:30pm-11:00pm!

RNs: Rates start at $34/hr with additional $ given for experience.

LPNs: Rates start at $25/hr with additional $ given for experience.

$1,000 Sign-on Bonus for full-time!

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia was established in Cobb County Georgia in 1973 at the invitation of Governor Jimmy Carter and for more than 40 years has been providing new hopes, new dreams, and new choices for children, adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.

  • Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing and completion of accredited RN or LPN program anda current Georgia Nursing License required.

  • Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

  • Previous experience in procedures performed on the nursing unit with ability to assist other staff members and physicians.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong technical skills and comfortable utilizing in-house computer applications for documenting and reporting purposes.

Other qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

  • Weekend availability and holidays required.

  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires all employees to be fully vaccinated on or before March 15, 2022 . If already fully vaccinated, you will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to starting
