As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide direct care nursing and will also beresponsible for administering medications, crisis intervention, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.
Schedule for this position is Days & Evenings, 8-hour shifts (6:30am-3:00pm; 2:30pm-11:00pm) and you will be required to work every other weekend.

EDUCATION : Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing preferred; State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse required.
EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred. Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
Previous experience in procedures performed on the nursing unit with ability to assist other staff members and physicians.
Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
Weekend availability and holidays required.
Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
