As a member of our Informations System Support team at our Georgia center, you will support the daily operations of our center's computers and telecommunication networks. You will perform troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and installation of software and hardware on desktop, laptop, networking and telecommunications systems including data, video and voice. This consists of first and second level technical support for the entire user community of the Devereux Foundation. In addition, you will provide school-wide educational technology leadership through the development, coordination and delivery of resources that support student academic achievement and supports implementation of instructional initiatives through collaboration with district-level leadership. You will also serve as a support with the Information Systems Specialist to ensure that current information systems needs are met.

What is Devereux doing to support and protect the health and safety of our staff during the COVID-19 pandemic?
At Devereux, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our clients, staff and families. All Devereux centers have formal infectious-disease and emergency-management plans tailored to specifically address the unique aspects of COVID-19 prevention. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization, just a few of these precautions have included:
Establishing enhanced cleaning and disinfection across all campuses and sites
Implementing social distancing protocols across all programs
Using PPE, including masks, gloves and gowns as indicated by the CDC
Ensuring daily temperature and symptom screenings for all staff and clients
Throughout the pandemic, Devereux has also supported the physical and financial health of our dedicated team members - our very own Healthcare Heroes. A variety of options have been implemented over time to support our staff, including the provision of:
Ongoing dedication bonuses, as well as sign-on bonuses, for direct support professionals (DSP) and other staff members
Flexible schedules, remote working where possible, and redeployment between programs and services
Hazard pay for those supporting quarantined individuals and shelter away services to frontline staff, when needed, to mitigate spread to families
Advancing paid time off and sick time; eliminating telemedicine costs over a period of time

EDUCATION: Minimum of an Associates degree preferred OR 60 credits in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Business Administration, Education or related field . An equivalent number of years (1 to 2 years) of technical support or related experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in Information Systems preferred, with a minimum of one (1) year as Client Support or two (2) years utilizing classroom technology integration.Experience working with children and adolescents preferred and/or in behavioral healthcare setting preferred.Requires an ability to be adaptable, flexible, and change activities quickly according to business needs.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required.
Valid Driver's License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.
Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
