The Lead Program Coordinator will be based in our Northern Region and report directly to the Direcotor of Program Coordination.
The Lead Program Coordinator will be charged with anticipating competitive services and distinguishing those of DNJ ABH from our competitors.The Lead Program Coordinator facilitates and actively participates in the planning and coordination of individualized program plans, data input and maintenance of the individuals’ electronic medical record, and monthly reporting for programs across the state of New Jersey. The Lead PC will oversee plan quality, as the position is a subject-matter expert in the development of IHPs. The Lead Program Coordinator will be responsible for training staff on the utilization of the electronic medical record. The Lead Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all documentation is compliment with Devereux Policy and Procedure, state and federal regulations and Medicaid requirements. The position will be responsible for administrative review of the monthly reports as well as routine checks of all aspects of the Electronic Health Record in accordance with Medicaid. The Lead Program Coordinator provides supervision and guidance for the program coordinators, and is responsible for hiring, performance management, training, and payroll for his or her direct reports.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration or a related field is required.
3 years’ relevant experience. 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Demonstrates leadership skills, strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.
Proficient computer skills required in MS Office.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Have a strong passion for working with and helping children with special needs.
