Being a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Devereux has its Advantages
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
Flexible schedules – Possible Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon off or every other weekend off
AM and PM shifts only
Located in North Goleta, CA next to the beach and a preserved wetland
Devereux will pay for your CEUs through our partnership with the Lippincott Nursing Center website, which provides a wide range of educational resources to earn state licensing required CEUs.
On-going training opportunities - internal training in the behavioral healthcare field (Safe and Positive Approaches and New Directions.

The specifics are:
Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, implement individual nursing care plan
Provide basic patient care or treatments such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, massaging, or performing catheterizations
Measure and record patient’s vital sign
Maintains information in electronic health system
Provides training to staff
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in Goleta, CA this position is responsible for the care of our elderly individuals.

Education : Must be a graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nursing Program and have a valid License to practice as LVN in California.
