Devereux's Children Behavioral Health Program, located in Glenmoore, PA, provides therapeutic residential treatment and education services for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral conduct disorders. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments.Located in Glenmoore, PA, this position is responsible for communicating with classroom teachers and providing date on students progress to all necessary staff or as requested. A Personal Care Assistant will also be responsible for encouraging appropriate social behavior by being a positive role model while utilizing the school wide positive behavioral support system and de-escalating and re-focusing on classroom tasks.

EDUCATION: Minimum of a High School diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Some experience in behavioral health preferred
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
