We are looking for a dedicated, board-eligible or certified Full-time Child Psychiatrist for our 110-bed psychiatric residential treatment program in Glenmoore, PA.

As a Full Time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with our PRTF program the expectation is to carry a caseload of 50 patients monthly, seeing them at least monthly (treatment review meetings are spread out accordingly over the 20 working days), and collaborating with the other disciplines as team leaders to plan med changes/ MD notes (monthly)/ documentation/ evaluations, admissions, and discharge planning.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. The Behavioral Health Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTF) provides 24-hour, out-of-home services for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges who need intensive services. The program serves children and adolescents, inclusive of biological male youth who are 7 to 17 years old at the time of admission, and biological female youth who are 12 to 17 years old at the time of admission. The program is inclusive for all youth with respect to sexual orientation and gender identity.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with current valid license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain). Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program required.

• Child psychiatry training if treating population 16 years and younger. Must demonstrate relevant treatment competency through clinical experience, continuing education units and referral letters to support these specific skills.
