Being a School Psychologist at Devereux has its Advantages
You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. As a school psychologist at our Brandywine School you will:
Completes Re-Evaluations (RR) in a timely, competent, and comprehensive manner.
Works with the IEP team in the development of the IEP to align with recommendations of the RR.
Utilizes Standardized testing to monitor student progress.
Maintains up to date knowledge in the area of assessment and school psychology.
Completes other duties as requested by the Principal.
Supervises college level unpaid clinical interns when accepted to school.
Annual training and certifications remain up to date and complete.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, Childrens Behavioral Health Services, provides programs and services for children and adolescents with a behavioral health diagnosis. Located in Glenmoore, PA, this position is responsible for the coordination and delivery or school based pscyhology services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. The School Psychologist will also be responsible for performing assessments as required, providing consultative services to the educational staff and participating in outcome initiatives.

Education and Experience: Masters (MEd), Educational Specialist (EdS) or Doctoral Degree (EdD, PhD) in school psychology from a NASP and/or APA accredited program. Certification as a school psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania. BCBA certified or BCBA eligible preferred. A minimum of one year experience in a school setting. Strong written communication and time managment skills.
Physical Requirements: Some walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques. Spme repetitive wrist movements, normal hearing and vision. Regular use of computers and office equipment. Infrequent driving of Devereux vehichles for businee purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of essential S&PA techniques.
