School Based Autism Consultant-BCBA

This position provides Clinical and Project Management Services of Devereux's D-PBIS initiative. The Devereux-PBIS Autism Project Coordinator provides training and clinical guidance to identified Autism Coaches in school districts, so that they are able to provide their district staff with the tools to implement ABA evidence-based practices. Additionally, the Coordinator provides professional development workshops with their assigned school districts; Develops and supervise all clinical services and treatment aspects of educational programs for young learners with Autism in their assigned districts; This position carries a caseload as determined by need.
Additional Responsibilities include, the following but not limited to:
Coordination and professional development services to include: data-based classroom observations; weekly feedback and coaching for staff; professional development training; data collection, management, and analysis; and writing (Functional Behavior Assessments, PBS Plans, and consultation notes with strengths and recommendations).
Compiles D-PBIS data collection from participating districts, summarizes data, meets with supervisors, presents results at Devereux' Autism Research Team meetings, updates and maintains D-PBIS documents (treatments plan, lesson plans, document templates), and manages the D-PBIS SharePoint system (uploading documents and templates, communicating with districts to enable access to SharePoint).
Responsibilities include clinical and research, and administrative duties.

Education : Bachelors degree in psychology, special education or related field.
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required.
Masters degree preferred.**
Experience : Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders.
Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver’s license must be maintained.**
