Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's Center for Autism Research and Educational Services (CARES) Program, located in Downingtown, PA serves up to 60 children, ages 5 through 21, with a confirmed primary diagnosis of Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD/NOS).

Pay rate: $17.91 - $20.42/hr (based upon experience)

Shift: Monday-Friay,8am-4pm

Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:

• Provide interventions to individuals in a school setting

• Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Transfer skills to individuals' natural support in the least restrictive environment

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. Dependent upon educational background(see above). Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. Must be adaptable to changingworkload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule. Proficient computerskills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel), experience with data collection/analyzing platforms as well asinternal and external software applications pertinent to the position).

Must possess and maintain valid driver'slicense

Must be at least 21 years of age.
