Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Psychiatrist (Telecommute) - Part Time in Deland, Florida

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is looking for a Tele-Psychiatrist for our Florida Center; this part-time position (approx 20 hours a month) works with Devereux’s Outpatient programs providing services to children and adolescents. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist (Board eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist preferred)

  • Licensed in the state of Florida

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment, so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Deland, FL, this position is responsible for:

  • Completing psychiatric evaluations

  • Working in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and interventional patient care

  • Monitoring and reevaluations as needed

  • Medication management

Qualifications

Education:

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist registered in the State of Florida required

  • Active Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464, F.S. (strongly preferred)

  • Twi years' Psychiatric experience required

  • Two years' experience working with children and adolescents preferred

Schedule:

  • Must be able to complete a three day new hire orientation class (Monday - Wednesday); hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license
