Salary: $50,000

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, NJ provides programs and services for children, adolescents, and adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. The person in this role will work in the Cherry Hill, NJ location, with opportunities to work remote . Travel throughout NJ is required for the position (when needed), and you would be responsible for your own transportation. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and assisting in the implementation of employee training programs for potential hires, new hires and current employees. You will also be responsible for teaching a curriculum designed to orient staff, increase required skill sets, and improve job performance.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in human services or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Two years previous experience conducting staff training with one year experience working with Intellectually/developmentally disabled population, preferably in a health care setting.

-Familiarity with NJAC 10:44A, NAC 10:128, Community Care Waiver and Supports Program standards preferred.

  • Must be able to work independently, and be a self starter.

  • Strong passion for training new staff and helping improve overall job performance.

  • CPR/First Aid Instructors Certification preferred, but can obtain Red Cross Instructor certificate if not certified once hired.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Excellent public speaking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email, and the Internet.
