Being a Program Specialist at Devereux Adult Services has its Advantages- This position will work very closely with the entire clinical treatment team. You will take the lead on coordinating treatment for a caseload of no more than 30 adult individuals in both a residential and vocational setting. Not only will you be a key member of the treatment team, you will serve as an advocate to ensure the individual is receiving individualized and appropriate care and interventions. Additionally, this position offers a flexible day time work schedule.**

The Program Specialist role is responsible to:

-Monitors treatment and services, prepares quarterly ISP reviews ensuring that all documentation is in adherence with regulations.

-Works with internal and external stakeholders (families, funding agencies, advocates, etc.) to ensure person centered treatment

-Coordinates completion of required documentation from various disciplines and acts as the point person for each client record.

-Acts as a consultant and resource to team regarding funding issues, benefits/insurance information, etc.

-Works with admission and finance department to oversee authorizations for services and to troubleshoot when discrepancies occur.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community. As a Social Services Coordinator you will coordinates treatment caseload of individuals in both residential and vocational/day settings. The Social Services Coordinator also monitors treatment/services and prepares quarterly reviews of the ISP and completes assessments and other applicable reviews in the electronic health record and acts as the point person for oversight of the record.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services

2 year's experience in the Human Services field, working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to adhere to established regulations

Valid driver’s license

At least 21 years of age
