Devereux Behavioral Health Rehabilitation (BHRS) Services is looking for Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultants in
to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of two and 21. The goal of ABA through BHRS is to maximize capacity to address environmental stimuli (setting events, antecedents and consequences), involve caregivers and other family members, and coordinate with other professionals.
Education : Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related Human Services field required. Must be licensed in one the following: Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultant (L-BSC); Licensed Social Worker (LSW); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); MFT, Licensed Psychologist.**
Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents with intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorder. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires strong data collection utilizing computer applications. Ability to be adaptable, flexible and change activities quickly. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access) and database management. Valid driver's license must be maintained.**
