As a Revenue Specialist, you will Inspire Hope and Empower Lives by:
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the entire client revenue process by establishing and complying with all related policies, procedure and regulatory requirements.
Also responsible for all areas related to client accounts receivable management, including advising leadership on contracting and regulatory issues, defining and implementing process redesign and development of procedures and measurement tools to minimize claim denials and ensure timely and sustainable payments.
The RS assures the appropriate setup of the client accounting system for all client billable services, including but not limited to Medicad, behavioral supports, transportation, housing and client contribution to care.
Provide support to the Admissions Department and the areas of Accounts Receivable and Utilization Review to ensure timely and appropriate billing and account follow-up.
Required to interface with Operational Managers and the center Leadership team as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience and knowledge of health care service delivery systems and third party reimbursement, including general ledger functions, account reconciliation and collections.
Demonstrate a commitment to team environment, and have strong problem solving and analytic skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requires an ability to work independently, and an ability to make prompt and accurate decisions.
Must have strong time management skills, attention to detail, be flexible and possess exceptional customer service skills.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, including Excel, and other data base management applications.
