Program Director . Devereux New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 400 children, adolescents, adults, and their families with special needs, from outside the New York skyline to the Southern New Jersey shoreline. Individuals with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities are served via a broad spectrum of treatment settings including community-based homes and apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops, administers, and coordinates program operations for multiple homes within a designated regional area to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for the individuals in our care.

  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of all professional services, has oversight of all the finincial components including budget adherence and upholding high quality standars of care and habitation for the community residential setting.

  • Provides direction to a variety of client service models while fostering the Devereux mission and philosophical values of quality care.

  • Promotes teamwork and trust through effective leadership and role modeling.

  • Assists in the development and management of financial and operating budgets.

  • Works in conjunction with the QI Director, Clinical Director, and other appropriate personnel to assure that all licensure and accreditation standards are met or exceeded

  • Actively participates as member of Leadership Team in development of Operating Plan, Strategic Plan, and other planning activities.

  • Bacherlors degree required, Masters degree preferred.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience working within the I/DD population, specifically with children.

  • Previous experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities

  • Previous supervisory experience within a residential treatment program (minimum of 5 years)
