Devereux Victoria is seeking a Maintenance Support Staff member to join our team.
The Maintenance Support Staff member will assist in maintaining the living environment for intellectually and developmentally disabled children & adults to facilitate daily care, enhance person development, foster self-esteem, and meet or exceed individualized goals for success.
As a Maintenance Support Staff your responsibilities will include:
-Performing a variety of maintenance duties for the Victoria campus -- may include repair and alteration tasks on equipment, structures, and vehicles.
-Performing routine/preventative and unscheduled repairs, or changes to equipment, buildings and/or vehicles, including record keeping of tasks performed.
-May include replacing electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical parts; and the moving of equipment, materials and supplies on the campus.
-Reporting equipment, facility, safety and vehicle problems as observed.
-Full-time position, M-F 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with one weekend a month on call.

To qualify, we require:
At least two years commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a health care setting.
Knowledge of floor care and floor care cleaning equipment is essential.
Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must have valid license.
