Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Admissions Specialist - Full Time in Victoria, Texas

Devereux Texas in Victoria is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Admissions Specialist.

The Admissions Specialist is responsible for the hands on management of referrals for potential clients.

This position will:

  • Actively facilitate all aspects of the admission process, including timely review of referral records and utilization review activities.

  • Provide prompt, courteous communication to families and agencies throughout the referral and admission processes.

  • Complete all admission-related paperwork to meet regulatory and internal requirements.

  • Provide liaison with the business office, physicians, payors, and other relevant individuals throughout the admission process.

Devereux Victoria is part of Devereux, the nation’s largest nonprofit behavioral healthcare system. Devereux’s treatment facilities specialize in treating children and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric disorders.

Requirements

EDUCATION :

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, psychology, or a related field.**

EXPERIENCE : Minimum of one year experience in admissions or a similar role.**
