The Administrative Support position will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for assigned areas within the campus. He/she is responsible for the efficient flow of correspondence and other materials relative to department and campus business, typing, filing, answering/forwarding telephone calls, and other general clerical duties. The Receptionist is responsible for operation of all functions of the switchboard, channeling calls, recording (via computer) referral information, data entry, coordinating emergency calls, and assisting in communication between staff via telephone, beepers, walkie-talkies, etc. He/she will function as the center receptionist. Additionally, the position provides clerical assistance to the human resources, financial, administrative and admission offices and serves as back-up support for those functions. Transcription experience is a plus.

High School diploma or GED required
One (1) year experience in an administrative role required (clerical/secretary/receptionist)
Must have excellent customer service skills, strong computers skills and ability to multi-task
Physical Requirements: Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, bending, and standing. Frequent use of office equipment. Normal hearing (or corrected to normal). Routine light lifting of 25 lbs. or less.
