The Devereux Arizona Assessment and Intervention Program is a 24-hour residential program that will work with ages 9-17 years old who may have been in multiple treatment settings or had multiple treatment failures prior to their referral to Devereux. Individuals entering the program may present with social or skills deficits, limited or unhealthy coping skills, verbal and/or physical aggression and severe emotional and/or behavioral difficulties that severely impact their overall functioning. These individuals may have resided in an unstable environment with limited support systems, while experiencing any or all of the following: verbal, emotional, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, and trauma. Part-Time Licensed Psychologist
(up to 20 hours per week as needed)to conduct psychological evaluations (Psychoeducational battery/ IQ/ Achievement/ Communication/ Learning style) during each child's 30 day stay in the program, as well as make recommendations as to their needs when returning to the community. Open to employment or contract position.
-Completes the psychological evaluation with recommendations on learning style,communication needs, intellectual abilities, and educational needs.
-Completes testing in domains identified through referral or assessment.

Current and valid Licensed Psychologist in the state of Arizona (issued byÂ AZ Board of Psychologist Examiners).
Experience working with ages 9-17 years old preferred.
