The Case Manager Supervisor works with children involved in the system of care due to abuse and neglect in their home environment.The Case Manager Supervisor supervises case managers who coordinate the services needed for the child, family, foster parents and other caregivers; working towards the goal of permanency.

Case Manager Supervisor Responsibilities include:
* Supervise a unit of case managers
* Assess risk of clients in Devereux's care
* Provide coordination of care & services to Devereux clients
* Address personnel issues
* Review cases of case managers
* Conducts monthly staff meetings to review and discuss unit progress and/or new procedures
* Reviews individual cases with staff bi-weekly, providing clear and concise case management direction
* Assures compliance with respect to state, local and federal laws
* Communicates and interacts well with other Case Management Organizations, Lead Agency, and Community Providers
* Monitors / tracks Judicial Review dates for the Unit and oversees that all reports are filed with legal 10 days prior to the court hearing
* Reviews Case Plans prepared by staff to ensure that the tasks accurately reflect the needs of the family
* Provides on-going guidance to Case Managers
The successful Case Manager Supervisor should possess the following skills:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
* Awareness of the social, economic and cultural factors that affect families
* Ability to travel and make home visits
* Ability to set appropriate boundaries with clients
* Ability to work flexible hours
* Ability to interact professionally with other agency personnel, community providers, GALS, attorneys, judges, school personnel, etc.
