PA Adult Services is currently seeking aFull-time Direct Support Professionalfor one of our Community homes inPhoenixville,PA.The Direct Support Professional will oversee intellectually and developmentally disabledadultsand partner with these individuals to facilitate daily care enhance personal development, foster self-esteem and meet or exceed individualized goals for success.
Shift Available:
Wed 3p-11p, Thurs 3p-11p, Fri 7a-3p, Sat 7a-11p
Job Functions:
- Accompanies Individuals on community life outings, medical appointments, and other activities
- Responsible for meal preparation, room care and personal hygiene
- Ensure Individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment
- Assist and support in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of Individuals
- Assist andsupport Individuals in learning a range of skills related to personal care, daily living, communication, mobility, travel, leisure/recreation, social interaction and responsible decision making.
