Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona is seeking a qualified and energetic Foster Care Specialist to work within our Home Recruitment Study Support (HRSS) area of our Foster Care Services program in Phoenix!! The
Foster Care Specialist
will monitor the foster home by ensuring the home is constantly in compliance with State regulations, as well as Devereux standards. It is also the responsibility of a Specialist to process the foster care licensing renewals on an annual basis for the families they manage. In addition, the Specialist will visit the foster homes no less than quarterly and sometimes more depending on the home.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, hours vary in accordance with home visits, but can include early evening hours; occasional weekend work due to special events.

Attending hearings and meetings as needed with families.
Participating in unit meetings.
Completing admissions and discharges.
Writing renewal studies.
Responding to phone calls from foster parents and other team members.

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field required.
One (1) year work experience in foster care with children/adolescents preferred.
Must have proficient computer skills and excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Must have ability to interact with a diverse population.
