Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona
is seeking a qualified individuals to work with our Outpatient facility in Phoenix as an Applied Behavior Analysis Tutor (ABA Tutor) / Behavioral Therapist. This individual will provide high quality one-on-one ABA treatment for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. In this position you will receive extensive training on how to use ABA procedures to teach new skills and decrease undesired behaviors.**
These positions are starting off as Part-Time with the opportunity to transition to Full-Time as the program grows. Afternoon availability is strongly preferred. Hours between 8:00am and 7:00pm.
Pay rate is $15.00/hr
Some responsibilities of an ABA Tutor include but are not limited to:
Working with individuals to decrease undesired behaviors through discrete trial teaching, natural environment teaching, prompting strategies, data collection, and behavior reduction interventions
Implementing lessons to improve communications, social, play, and self-help skills
Demonstrates working knowledge of basis ABA principles, teaching procedures, and behavior reduction procedures
Conducts one-on-one treatment sessions using ABA interventions outlined in each client's individualist treatment plan
Demonstrates the ability to structure the environment so every interaction and activity within the treatment program promotes positive goal-directed responses and/or social interactions.
We are offering TRAINING AND SUPERVISION for our Tutors to work towards their RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA certifications and licenses.

Bachelor's Degree required.
Six (6) weeks of experience working in behavioral health, interest in working with children and young adults.
Experience working with children, adolescents and/or young adults with or without autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
