Share in the development, implementation and evaluation process for overall residential operation, along with residential manager or coordinator. Overall accountability for all aspects of client care. Ensure a non-threatening, nurturing environment where clients are free to express themselves in an appropriate manner and are given support and respect as well as re-direction when necessary. Serve as a positive role model for staff, establish and maintain open lines of communication. Serve as a key link in communication among management, families, community, licensing body and agencies. Proactively manages staff including interviewing, training, coaching, mentoring, as well as observation and feedback. Responsible for disciplining and evaluating of staff in conjunction with the residential manager and human resources. Manages call offs and assisted the residential manager in maintaining appropriate staffing levels for the residential program at all times. Can provide in-service programs in area of expertise. Accountable for client and unit financial accounts and budgeting. Regularly work as part of the direct care ratio.
High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred. License as an RN, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW preferred.
Proficient computer skills.
Valid driver license must be maintained.**
Must have a minimum of two years experience in the Mental Health or other related field.
Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.**

Four year degree in education, social sciences, management and/or related health degree OR at least three years? experience in a residential treatment setting and a high school diploma or GED required.**

Requires walking and standing 1/2 to 3/4 of the workday; 1/4 to 1/2 of the workday sitting. Frequently requires stooping, bending. Occasionally requires lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Requires vision and physical ability to regularly operate Devereux vehicles. Requires physical ability to successfully perform CPR, First Aid procedures, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention techniques. Must be able to work various shifts including weekends.
Shift will be 1 PM to 9PM and include weekends.
