- Meet with staff throughout the day as needed for urgent/unscheduled supervision meetings i.e. for crisis situations. Provide crisis support (live and/or telephonically) for clients/families throughout the day.
- Attend/facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings as needed to support your staff with their assigned clients/families.
- Attend/participate in psychiatric evaluations and/or medication monitoring appointments as needed to support client/family and the CFT. Coordinate with supervisors, staff, and other agencies as needed to meet the service needs of our clients.
- Audit client files and provide direction to staff to ensure documentation is up-to-date.
- Facilitate Group Supervision Meeting 1x weekly. Attend weekly Coordinators Meetings and QCN Network Meetings as directed by Treatment Program Manager.Attend monthly psychiatrist meeting to participate in case staffings.
- Provide On-Call Clinical support for staff and clients (rotating schedule).

-Answering phone calls and emails from foster parents and caseworkers: Discussing how children are doing in the home and providing info to foster parent about available resources and/or providing information and expertise about how the school system, court system, or medical system works).Phone calls may also involve just listening to the foster parent discuss their experiences and providing support through empathy and/or giving positive feedback about how the foster parent is doing.All phone contacts are then documented into their case file.

-Conducting home visits:Discussions will likely cover many of the same issues as what is discussed in phone calls.However, home visits also give the Specialist the opportunity to assess the home environment to ensure that it continues to be safe and stable (accomplished through general observations of the home, walk-through of the home to ensure that there are no safety hazards, observations of the foster parent and family dynamics, and talking with children who have been placed in the home).Paperwork is completed during each of these visits in which any concerns are noted and discussed with the foster parent and documented in their case file.

-Preparing a foster parent's home study to submit to the state for review and approval:Mailing and collecting paperwork from the foster parents, updating family's home study each year with applicable information, which requires knowledge of the family and any changes that may have occurred within the family over the past licensing year.All of this information is formally documented in the state's online foster care licensing program.

The ratio for our residential programs is no more than a1:6ratio (one staff for every six clients).The RTC admits children and adolescents witha wide range of issues.

Available shifts: Mon-Fri, 8am-11am &amp; 3:10pm-7:10pm and Saturday/Sunday: 8:00am-12:00pm &amp; 3:10pm-7:10pm.
Job Responsibilities:
-Supervises residentialcampus pool. Coordinates swimming programs and lessons by direct involvement with primary group leaders, DCP's, and children in developing schedule for the pool.
- Maintains inventory of recreational and pool equipment and identifies needs for programming.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt;
-Works with clients and staff to teach water safety and provides in-service training in this area tostaffas needed.

What does a typical day look like for a Special Education Teacher?The Teacher is responsible for creating and instructing daily lesson plans (lessons based on ability of students and their Individual Education Plan), using differentiated instruction.He/she will work with individuals and small groups and provide daily assessments of student progress.In addition to meeting the educational needs of the classroom, the Teacher is also responsible for the management of the classroom.With help from the Teacher's Assistant, the Teacher will monitor behavior and guide students to socially appropriate behavior, while consistently being a role model.He/she will also complete progress reports, shift reports, supervise lunch, and attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and the school committee.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt;
